Privacy and Policy

neardata, inc (also referred to as “neardata.net,” “we,” “us,” “our,” or “Site”) is devoted to safeguarding the privacy of our each User’s personal information. This “Privacy Policy” applies with respect to information that is collected from the Site, located at http://neardata, inc. The Privacy Policy does not cover the treatment of personally identifiable information that may be gathered by other web sites that neardata, inc links to or is otherwise associated with. The Privacy Policy has been created to inform Users how we collect, use, treat and distribute Users’ personally-identifiable information and data “if any.”

Updates to the Privacy Policy will be posted in this section of the Site and will be effective when posted. Each User’s continued use of the Site following the posting of any amendment, modification or change shall constitute a User’s acceptance thereof.

Privacy Protections

neardata, inc will not disclose or share personally identifiable information collected on the Site with any third party other than Site Partners and except as required by law or pursuant to a governmental request.

We do not knowingly provide the Services or knowingly gather personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13). Federal Law prohibits web sites from gathering and/or distributing personal information from children without parental consent.

We may disclose User personal information to any authorized law enforcement agency upon request, regardless of where it was initiated from. We may also disclose User personally identifiable information with third parties, if we, in our sole discretion, have reason to believe that the Site is being used for any unacceptable, illegal or abusive purposes.

Special Circumstances

neardata, inc may disclose personal information when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who is violating the Agreements or may be causing injury to or interference with other clients or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities.

Cookies

A cookie is a small data file that some web sites write to a hard drive when someone visits the Site. A cookie may contain information like a User ID that allows our application to maintain a User’s session. The only personal information a cookie contains is information a User decides to supply. A cookie cannot read data from a User’s hard drive or cookie files created by other web sites. We use cookies to save User username so Users do not have to retype their username each time a User comes back to the Site and to “time-out” a User’s session if it is idle for a long period of time.

IP Addresses

We may use a User’s IP address to analyze problems with our servers or client hosted services or other services we maintain on behalf of our clients directly or indirectly.

The site contains links to other web sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these web sites

Security Procedures

The Site has security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of information under our control. We protect secure data with industry-standard firewall and password encryption systems. We regularly review and better our security and privacy policies as necessary. We only allow pre-authorized individuals access to our servers and to information provided by Users.

Corrections and Updates

To change or modify information Users previously provided, Users may (i) use the My Account section of the Site or (ii) send an email to support@neardata, inc.

Please understand that no data transmission over the internet is 100% safe.

Notification of Changes

We may notify Users by email of the relevant changes to the Privacy Policy; however we are under no obligation to do so.

neardata, inc reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy, so please check back periodically to review any changes to the Privacy Policy.
